Privacy policy

Short, and without the legalese: what I know about you, where it came from, and what I do with it.

Who controls the data

The controller is Lena Loginova, who operates this website. Contact details are in the footer.

If you need anything regarding your data — a copy, a correction, a deletion — write to that address. I reply within 30 days, usually much sooner.

The enquiry form

When you fill in the form on the Contact page, this is what is sent: your name, e-mail, and optionally your company, phone number, the address of your existing website, an indicative budget, and the text of your message.

I use it for one purpose — to reply to you and, if it goes that way, prepare a quote. I do not sell it, add it to any mailing list, or use it for advertising.

The submission stays in my mailbox for as long as we are in discussion and afterwards for as long as an engagement requires. If nothing comes of it, I delete it within 12 months.

Who else sees it

Vercel — the host of this website. It processes technical request logs, including IP address, for a short period.

Brevo — the service that delivers the e-mail from the enquiry form. What you typed into the form passes through it.

Plausible Analytics — aggregate traffic statistics. It sets no cookies, collects no personal data, and cannot identify an individual visitor.

Nobody else. No Google Analytics, no advertising pixels, no cross-site tracking.

Cookies

This site sets exactly one cookie, named locale. It stores the language you are viewing the site in, so it does not greet you in the wrong one next time. It is set on your first visit, not only when you switch language. It is functional, not for tracking, and contains nothing that could identify you — so it needs no consent.

Traffic statistics run without cookies. That is why there is no consent banner here — there is nothing to click away.

Your rights

You have the right to know what data I hold about you, to receive it in a readable form, to have it corrected or erased, and to object to it being processed.

Write to the address in the footer. You do not need a form or a formal request.

If you believe I am handling your data badly, you can contact the Czech data protection authority.
